Entrepreneurship
Entrepreneurs
Welcome back to my blogs, last time we talked about leadership, how to be a good leader and the types of leadership, is true you can be the leader of a group or a team but what if you want to be the leader of an entire company, today we are going to talk about entrepreneurship, what is an entrepreneur, how to be an entrepreneur and more. So don’t go anywhere and keep reading.
What is an entrepreneur? The first time I heard the word I had no idea what it meant, I thought it mean something in between or something like that, but what an entrepreneur actually is the person that identifies an opportunity and organize the essential resources needs to take it. Regularly, it’s commonly used to people that start business. Just like in leadership, there are types of entrepreneurs, the pure and the indirect.
The pure entrepreneur is the one that initiates an enterprise not for an economical need, but because he detects an opportunity and feels passion for starting it. On the other hand the indirect entrepreneur create a business due to the economical need and has a lack of resources.
Now, let me tell you what Roger Federer, well-known tennis player and also an entrepreneur, said that it takes to be an entrepreneur. First, always aspire to do better, build a great team that shares your visions, use challenges to reassess your strategic progress, let your setbacks propel you forward.[1]
Every entrepreneur has something call entrepreneur’s barriers, which are the set backs that if an entrepreneur doesn’t overcome it will defeat him. Some of this barriers are money, money is always a problem when you are first starting a company or a business; society, people are always gonna tell you that you can’t do it, or that is nonsense what you are trying to do, what you have to do to overcome this obstacle is just ignore them; time, of course time is a factor, when are you going to work on your business if you don’t have the time, between work and some other stuff you have to do daily; knowledge, to me this is the easiest one to overcome, maybe you don’t have the knowledge at first, but if you read, you learn and investigate more about how your business could work, the more knowledge you get and the easiest would be to overcome.
That would be all for today’s blog, I hope you enjoyed it and if you want to learn more of how to be an entrepreneur ask Christopher, he knows better. See you in my next post.
